Title: Research on intelligence technology for distributed drive electric vehicle
Abstract: Electric vehicles (EVs) have been recently developed, and new technologies are being applied to reduce energy consumption and environmental impact. Distributed drive electric vehicle lays the foundation for the realization of an advanced control algorithm. Autonomous vehicle technology is the highest achievement for vehicle intelligence and is key in reducing traffic accidents. Trajectory tracking is a key technology for precisely controlling autonomous vehicles. A trajectory tracking algorithm is proposed for electric vehicle driven by four independent in-wheel motors using a hierarchical strategy. While the upper controller tracks the desired trajectory based on model predictive control (MPC), the middle controller adjusts the speed using the fuzzy theory to optimize the parameters of the proportional integral (PI) controller and generates an additional yaw control moment based on sliding mode control (SMC). Finally, the lower controller distributes the torque to each wheel according to stability and adhesion conditions.
Experience: Guo Lie is now an associate professor and doctoral supervisor of Dalian University of Technology, director of New Concept Automobile Research Institute, Technical Committee on Vehicle Control and Intelligence of Chinese Association of Automation, vice chairman of Industry Innovation Alliance for Internet of vehicles of Dalian, high-level talent in Dalian, young editorial board of Automotive Technology, He is mainly engaged in the research on autonomous vehicles and intelligent connected vehicle technology. He has taken charged in over 3 National Natural Science Foundation projects, 2 Liaoning Provincial Natural Science Foundation projects and a number of enterprises and institutions entrusted projects. He has also participated in more than 20 projects such as the EU "Horizon 2020" plan, the national key R&D plan and the National Natural Science Foundation. He has published his book "automobile safety assisted driving technology" and won the Dalian science and technology work award, published more than 100 papers in authoritative journals and academic conferences, authorized more than 40 national invention patents, and successively won many awards, such as the excellent scientific research achievement award of colleges and universities, the scientific achievement award of Liaoning Province, the excellent academic paper of Dalian, etc.
